3 Phase Complete Carp Care Kit – Body & Mouth

Complete carp care for hook holds, cuts, wounds, ulcers, damaged scales and mouth damage.

The Carp Care UK 3 Phase Complete Carp Care Kit has been developed to give carp anglers a complete, easy-to-use fish care system that can be kept ready in the tackle bag.

From small cuts and hook holds through to larger external wounds and ulcers, the kit combines three dedicated phases to clean, treat and protect affected areas before the carp is safely returned to the water.

Phase 1 – Antisepticize | Mouth & Body

Antisepticize is a non-toxic disinfectant spray designed to clean affected areas and help protect against unwanted bacteria and parasites.

It can be used on cuts, open wounds, ulcers, hook holds and other suitable areas of external damage as the first stage of the 3 Phase treatment process.

Phase 2 – Propolis | Mouth & Body

Phase 2 uses Bee Propolis, a natural substance containing compounds including pinocembrin.

Propolis also naturally contains amino acids and a range of vitamins and minerals.

Applied following Phase 1, the Propolis forms the second stage of the Carp Care UK treatment system.

Phase 3 – Wound Membrane | Body Only

Think of it as a plaster for the carp.

Our Wound Membrane is a powder adhesive designed to cover cuts, wounds and ulcers following treatment with Phases 1 and 2.

The powder absorbs moisture and forms a thick film coating when it comes into contact with lake water, providing a protective barrier over the treated area.

How to Use All 3 Phases

Phase 1 – Antisepticize:
Carefully wipe the affected area clean and dry. Spray Antisepticize directly onto the localised area until adequately covered.

Phase 2 – Propolis:
Apply Propolis directly over the area treated with Phase 1. When proceeding to Phase 3, do not seal the Propolis with lake water at this stage.

Phase 3 – Wound Membrane:
Apply the powder adhesive over the Propolis. Carefully introduce lake water to activate the membrane. The powder will deepen in colour as it absorbs the water and forms a protective plaster-like coating over the treated area.

Using Phases 1 & 2 Only

For mouth damage, hook holds or smaller lesions where the Wound Membrane isn't required:

Phase 1: Check the affected area and carefully wipe it dry before applying Antisepticize.

For mouth treatment, one spray should be sufficient. Never spray directly towards the fish's throat.

For deeper hook holds, spray Antisepticize onto the tip of your finger and gently apply it to the affected area.

For small lesions, flank damage, tail damage or fin damage, a few sprays should be sufficient.

Phase 2: Apply Propolis directly over the area treated with Phase 1. Carefully seal the Propolis with lake water. The Propolis will turn a lighter colour as it seals.

Important Safety Information

DO NOT APPLY THESE TREATMENTS AROUND THE EYES, NASAL PASSAGES OR GILLS.

Always minimise the amount of time a carp is kept out of the water and handle fish carefully throughout treatment.
